Privacy Policy
Applies to the Vakat app (Android and iOS) and the mojvakat.ba website.

Vakat requires no sign-up and does not collect personal data, except what you type in yourself when you send us a message. The app has no ads and uses no tracking or advertising analytics services.
Location
If you allow it, the app reads the device location while it is open to pick the nearest city and calculate the Qibla direction. This is computed on the device. Location is not sent to our servers, not shared with anyone and not tracked in the background. Without location permission, you pick the city manually.
Notifications
Prayer reminders are scheduled on the device. They need no internet connection and no account.
Data on the device
Everything you set and do in the app is stored only on your device: your city, reminders and other settings, the chosen reciter, where you stopped reading the Quran, the hadiths you have read and the tasbih count. The website stores only the chosen city, in your browser. Deleting the app or the browser data deletes this data too.
Third parties
The mojvakat.ba website uses no cookies, no analytics and no external fonts. The chosen city is stored only in your browser.
Once a day, the app checks mojvakat.ba for new content, such as holiday dates or hadiths. The server sees only the device's IP address; no personal data is sent.
The Quran text comes from the Tanzil Project (tanzil.net) and is built into the app. It works offline, so reading it does not connect to any service.
When you play a Quran recitation, the audio is streamed from AlQuran Cloud (cdn.islamic.network), which sees the device's IP address. Without playing a recitation, no such connection is made.
Messages from the app
If you send feedback from the app, your name, email and message, together with the app and system version, are sent by email to VISION LAB. They are used only to read and reply to your message. Without sending a message, this data is not collected.
Changes
If this policy changes, the new version is published on this page with a new date.
